Scott Morton
Chief Executive Officer
As a founding member, Scott’s is responsible for business strategy, operations & business plan execution. Scott currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Severna Health servicing FDA regulated pharmaceutical & medical device manufacturing, 503B Outsourcing & Wholesale Distribution.
Before founding Severna, Scott served as Executive Vice President of an FDA regulated 503B Outsourcing Facility, Bryce Laboratories, Inc. with a primary focus to accelerate growth through a concentration of quality assurance, compliance & product control.
Scott began his career with American Express before becoming Area Manager of Operations for AppleOne, Inc., and later Vice President of Business Development for BrainBox Enterprises, Inc., where he oversaw marketing & strategic growth plans for clients such as Magellan Health, Discovery Health, Shire Pharmaceuticals, etc.
Matthew Swift
Chief Revenue Officer
As a founding member, Matt focuses on sales plan development & execution. Matt currently serves as Chief Revenue Officer of Severna Health, where he is responsible for the day-to-day sales & performance for the Company. In its nine years of operations, Matt has Severna pacing to $50mm in generated sales.
Prior to Severna, Matt was instrumental in growing multiple pharmaceutical wholesalers. Matt developed the sales infrastructure, training program, and compensation plans while recruiting, hiring, and training 40 representatives generating $100 million in gross revenue within the first five years of operations.
Kara Morris
Director of Business Operations
Having joined Severna in 2018, Kara serves as the Director of Business Operations and paralegal for Severna Health & WelgoRx, a Severna Health Company. Kara oversees day to day business and accounting activities and literally “keeps the lights on”.
If there is a hat to be worn at Severna Health, Kara has worn it, including the rally cap to help enhance the fun culture Severna Health has created.
Sarah Kinnane
Sales Manager
Sarah currently serves as a Sales Manager for Severna with a concentration on wholesale distribution sales to hospitals and physician-based dispensing.
With a background in medical device sales, Sarah is instrumental in bridging the gaps between device & pharmaceutical divisions within Severna Health.
Sarah also serves as Severna’s internal recruiter and is always on the lookout for great talent to enhance the culture and spirit of Severna Health. You better enjoy yourself and know how to have fun if you want to get her referral.
Jessa Rottmann
Sales Manager
Jessa serves as a Sales Manager for Severna with a concentration on Group Purchasing Organization (GPO) clients to include hospitals, clinics, and private practices.
Utilizing a proprietary physician based dispensing, Jessa helps private practices enhance their patient experience while generating value secondary revenue streams.
Serving as the resident fashion consultant, Jessa ensures Severna Health is ready for a board meeting or happy hour on any given day.
Franklin Blakeney
Director of Warehouse Operations
Franklin joins Severna Health through the acquisition of Welgo, LLC (WelgoRx), a licensed pharmaceutical wholesale distributor. With over 30+ years working with multiple distribution centers, 20 of which with McKessen, Franklin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in distribution, warehouse management, and compliance.
With experience like Franklin, he just may be the Godfather himself.
John League
Social Chairman
As a business advisor since Severna was formed, John helped shape the executive team both personally and professionally to ensure we never took the business to seriously and always enjoyed the process. An avid outdoorsman, John would promote team development through unforgettable social activities which has helped shape the culture which thrives today. John passed away September 19, 2022, but will forever remain apart of the Severna Health family.
